"In the Now" named one of the top 10 most overlooked albums in 2007 by Phillylist.com
I'm a music guy. I listen to a ton of music, and because of Phillyist, I've been able to hear a lot of great stuff I never would have heard otherwise. But, no matter how much of a music fan you are, there are always some great albums that slip through the cracks and you don't manage to hear, even though you really should.
Review of the Fooling April concert at World Cafe Live in support of "Musicians on Call"
The holidays kind of snuck up on us this year. Perhaps because Thanksgiving was so early. After Turkey Day was over, it was still too early to get into the Christmannakkanzaa spirit.

Host Danielle Flora interviews the band including an acoustic performance of the first single release, "The Way Back Down" recorded at Billboard studios in New York City.
CampusPhilly.org reviews "In the Now" by Brittany Sturges
After the success of their song “Firefly,” from the 2004 release Every Good Boy Does Fine , Fooling April is back with its latest release, In the Now . This time, the band has ventured into a territory with funkier beats, catchy lyrics and the ever-so-smooth vocals of front man, Brian Kenneth.
Philly Edge Magazine reviews "In the Now" by Mike Lello Thoughtful, catchy and well-crafted pop rock never goes out of style, thanks to bands like Fooling April, a local gropu that puts an emphasis on songwriting, hooks and tight instrumentation.
Fooling April named "Newest Rising Star" by Campus Activities Magazine.
Fooling April is shaping up to be one of the hottest new bands out there- and not just on the college market. With national exposure and some legendary co-billings, it is little surprise they have walked away with Campus Activities® Magazine's Reader's Choice Award for Newest Rising Star of 2007.

PlayPhilly's Interview with Brian Kenneth.
Four guys got together a few years ago to bring you an eclectic mix of harmony and melody. Their name became Fooling April and their recipe for success is as follows. PLAY sat down with Brian Kenneth of the band to get their concoction. Don't tell them we told you how to mix it all together; they may get mad we told you the secret.

Amplifier Magazine - June 2005 Review of "Every Good Boyd Does Fine" by David Bash. "If you're looking for pop rock that's blessed with style and taste, look no further than Every Good Boy Does Fine, the debut disc by Philadelphia-based combo Fooling April. Lead singer/lyric writer Brian Kenneth's rich, resonant vocals punctuate the stylish interplay between his keyboards and Rado's guitar licks. Comparisons to Billy Joel are inevitable and somewhat justified, especially on poppy, spirited tunes like "Monet", "Backslide", and especially the rollicking "Chuckie & The Bone," but the band rocks more than Joel ever did. The best track is "C-4", a tale about a band member who doesn't have it together. The CD adds three live tracks, proving that Fooling April's skill is not a product of the studio. This is a band that would have absolutely been signed in the '70s, and deserve a major label deal today. High quality stuff!" -David Bash
